He may not be able to prevent hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, terrorist acts, and other major disasters from happening, but Angelo Bisbikis is determined to do what he can to make sure that victims get timely humanitarian assistance without having to wait so much. That is the power of radio frequency communications, and which Angelo hopes to maximize. A HAM operator and electronics technician, Angelo has been pursuing a Master of Arts degree online in Emergency Management and Logistics at the American Military University. Basically, what he’s aiming for is a career in public service that encompasses all levels of government and is useful in a range of fields including healthcare, private business and education. He hopes to be able to do field and volunteer work with disaster relief organizations that offer robust volunteer programs for deployment during actual, real disasters. Angelo has set his mind to working for maximization of an avenue of training that is not commonly available to private citizens. Sincere about doing more for people who are victims of natural and manmade disasters, Angelo Bisbikis is an alumnus of DePaul University and Honolulu Community College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and is serious about learning what he can to bolster humanitarian disaster relief locally and globally. Angelo believes that there is strength for humankind when all efforts are directed toward a common goal. This is more apparent when everyone puts their talents together to resolve all conflict. Should this fail, Angelo hopes everyone will be more than willing to pitch in to alleviate the sufferings of others caught in the aftermath of storms or the crossfire of terroristic acts.
